Brimfield is Coming

    Thank you Messilane for telling me about this site! It's good to have a real board back.

    Brimfield is less than a week away. So... who's going? We will be in our usual location in Hertan's, right by the sign on Route 20. I don't know how much I'll be able to do for photos as I'll be solo a lot more this show than in the past. But I'll try! For those that don't know, a great site for info about Brimfield is www.insidebrimfield.com. Also new this year is a Brimfield app for the shows, with a lot of really good features. The app is Brimfield Flea Finder and is available for both iPhone and Droid.

    Hi das! So glad to see you here. Alas - I won't be selling at Brimfield. Jim - my Brimfield partner, has the job of designing and fabricating the Tucker display at the Antique Car Museum in PA. Very exciting but very time consuming I believe.

    Where would Jim be getting the items to use in the display? :) We actually have a lot of regulars who do that sort of thing.

    Well, a lot was donated by the estate of the person who had the largest Tucker collection in the world - including the cars. He's recreating the garage, the garage office, and Tucker's kitchen. He got the 1930s Simplex Time clock and time card holders, and 1930s intercom system from me - came out of the Studebaker garage I cleaned out last year. I don't know where he's getting other stuff.

    Actually Messilane gave me the heads up that this existed. I have been hoping for a new place but to be honest we have been a bit too busy to look real hard.
