Featured Monogrammed plate

That would be my suspicion. It's a lovely piece. I also agree with Cheryl that the initials are KRJ. I suppose it's possible it was a special order single piece that someone commissioned as a gift but the survivor from some type of set seems more likely. You certainly have a nice handpainted piece and it's always nice to have a treasure that been in the family for awhile.

I remember reading that Copeland, along with other fine porcelain companies, would do special orders for one of a kind sets and these sets usually had monograms or family crests. It is a beautiful plate.

I have located the pattern of your plate as 1/9698 and the description in the factory pattern book is given as:-
"China gadroon plate, dessert pencilled in turquoise". There is no pattern name.
It is most likely that this plate is from a specially commissioned set.

Possibly unmarked French "Sevres" plate, but very rarely "Sevres" not marked theirs made porcelain..more likely it will be "Sevres" style imitation, i am afraid is it not possible to tell who made your plate..Monogram - if it's not well known family (looks like it is not, when judging plate itself) in a past - you won't be able to find it, don't waste your time
