Pottery Oil Lamp?

    I don't see this being a pouring vessel so maybe an oil lamp. Any idea of the origin?

    Is gargoulette supposed to pour out like a teapot or you have to suck on the nipple?

    Sorry I have no idea how it's used. I have one myself that I id'd a few years ago or I'd not even have known a name.

    I think it has other names in other languages such as cantir or botijo. It does look like you drink from it.
