1982 World Fair Japanese Robotic Drawing

Maybe not super rare and with greater value but I find it so cool.

Was every drawing unique? Did it just randomly combine forms, or...?

 

Not unique, used patterns like the one shown in the attached picture at the lower right. People would choose the pattern and the robot draw it.
With the new technologies this looks like an easy job but it might have been something big for 1982.
