Not Antique But omeone Should Know

Picked up a Barbie Doll. Back side says 1966 Made in Korea. bendable legs, twist and turn waist. Is this a malibu barbie 1973-1978?

 

My lighting may be off, but having had a Malibu Barbie myself, I think she'd be a little more tanned. There was a "Twist and Turn" Barbie about that same time, if I recall correctly. I have a huge box of my childhood Barbies. If I get a chance (and find it), I'll take a look inside.

I looked up some of the ones that had 1966 and made in Korea, and I think this one is Malibu Francie. Most of the others did not have an open mouth.

Hi, I didn't think Malibu Barbie was made in Korea until early 1970's. Would they not have the Mattel mark on them? My sister has a collection. Let me ask her about hers.

Ulilwitch, even though there is a 1966 date on the butt some were made in the 70's.
