Featured Mother Stories from the Old Testament

I recently bought this from a thrift store for fifty cents, was it a good buy?

 

I don't know.... it's in pretty tough shape. Have you done any research on book sites like Abebooks?

a bit ambitious those prices ?
someone may like the illustrations though and dump the rest.

 

Nice illustrations. Unless you're trying to make a killing on resale, you can't lose for 50 cents.

 

A fifty cent gamble. But not rare. Not a childhood classic. And not in good condition. You might want to donate it back. Unless one's a lifetime reader, someone who knows and treasures books, it's almost impossible to identify books with resale value. And even then... Bears repeating that in book dealing, there is no correlation between old and valuable. And, in general, most old religious tomes are worthless.
