I do a lot of Demo of Victorian Homes in Toronto - stain glass ect - I have connections for many things but once in a while just cannot find info about a "find"

Welcome. Stained glass is one of my most favorite things. It's a shame to see these houses go away, but at least you care.

If you're bringing home some really cool bits, tin ceilings and newel posts etc ... you need a storage shed so the wife won't be tripping on them.(LOL) Welcome!

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a cool profession although I am bit of a preservationist myself. I do concede that most historic building stock is not especially special and that we cannot make our urban areas into giant open air museums if we want them to remain vibrant and livable.

Please share some of your stories and tips on what is salvageable/sellable and what is not!

    But a 70's hangout's demo stuff isn't antique.

Well not really - I demo everything - so I was just showing what I do and see - but I did pull out a Gurney Refrigerator see the link under furniture - and if you can find info of Gurney Fridges let me know - it may be junk - it may be the last one? that's the game right?

True! I just wanted to make sure for later readers who might not realize that the appropriate minimum age for "antiques" is a lot more than 40-50 years. ;)
