Is this a real war club, or a repro?

    Good morning, This has been in my closet for about 15 yrs bought at a flea market, and vaguely remember being told it was Indian, the buttons as eyes are throwing me, also appears to have been repainted around the big head, am wondering if the original stone was missing and if it was replaced, binding is a skin or leather, and tails look and feel like horse hair, thank you for any insights/info

    While I wouldn't want to get hit on the head with it....I don't recognize it as any type of NA war club ......it looks like a fantasy piece to me.

    I think it looks like it could be inuit ? Maybe a seal club ?
