    Hi all xx
I really don't think this is literally anything, like am almost positively certain that this weird blob of some sort of soft metal is just that. But my imagination runs wild and it can almost see a figo. Maybe with six fingers :)
I am teetotal so can't even use alcohol as an excuse.
Just thought I'd run it past you all before I ... put it in a drawer. Or box. Probably box as I have a few ( hundred)
Was going to say dispose of but I am amongst friends and we know better.
It's about an inch both ways.

It was dug up and the stuff on it is dirt yakkity

This next thing was dug up in same place.
    Pretty sure it's brass.
Spoon rest? Bridal brass gone wrong? xx

    Edit for hopeful clarity xx

Your blob looks rather like a bit of melted lead that dripped when casting something. Around here possibly bullets but maybe not where you are. Of course it could also be pewter or some other metal drip from casting or something dropped in a fire. If very heavy for its size think lead.

Even burned glass can look like that but you'd know best what it is when having it in hand.

I see shapes and things in clouds and everything else so I know where you're coming from:).

I am buying people's metal detectings and tis so much FUN...haven't managed to do it myself since I was a child. Lots of lead seals in there and what they call **Celtic Ring Money** which I believe is much more likely to be from bridles but they feel tactile n nice.
Wonder if there is a market for weird looking lead blobs that looks like Scotland/The Netherlands in olden times/Jesus on a bike?

Thanks everyone...I will be back soon. Have tonnes of things :O

**NOT THAT IT WILL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE** but just noticed a typo in my OP. I meant FIGA not FIGO . Not that it looks any more like a figo than a figa a but...

I agree this looks like cast off scrap lead. Not unlike the waste I produce in smaller amounts when doing soldering work around the house. Also, bear in mind that melted lead and lead/tin mix was heavily used in plumbing up to around the late-20th century. Wiped joints, made when installing ore repairing drain pipes, required pots of melted lead at all houses. The old joints were a thing of beauty:
