I need your suggestions!

Im looking to buy 16mm films but need suggestions on the best movies to get. I would like suggestions on cartoons and real people films. Thanks in advanced!

Sounds like you're starting your own movie theater....I'd think any of the older Disney or Warner Brothers cartoons would be a start....if you can find those in 16mm.

Seems like a lot of libraries had 16mm films, so it might not be too hard to find some.

 

I would really like any genres. Also any dates haha. As long as it has sound I'm fine with it! Black and white or color. Doesn't matter to me. Cartoons are my favorite though. Just not the short 10 minute ones.

 

Ah, okay, Fakesie, I think I get the idea.

How about a Film Noir collection? The Maltese Falcon. The Postman Always Rings Twice. Murder, My Sweet. The Big Sleep. Double Indemnity. Dead Reckoning. Maybe even reach back for some Cagney and Edward G Robinson. We ladies could all put on red lipstick and you guys could pretend you smoke, even if you don't... just let one hang in your lips while you mumble tough-guy stuff!
