With those wires, it reminds me of the pieces on Mexican "tree of life" pottery sculptures, usually mounted with baked in wire.

My birdie arrived, and he was bearing another gift! Thank you for the beeeeeeauuuuutiful handkerchief! I am suddenly convinced that every female should have at least one, and this is my first.

Wonderful Gila I'm glad you received it. When I was shipping the birdie the hankie was nearby and I thought you might like it because of the birds. I'm not a hankie person but I sell them from time-to-time and sometimes I'll put them under a lamp or plant for decoration in my house.
He looks so happy to be in his new home!!

 

I tidied up his fabric knots and I've been wearing him.
It's wonderful... so far, people I don't know look at it and start to say something and then don't. People I know... well, they expect strange behavior from me, and they just look at him without remarking. Pretty sure he has some special powers. He seems to be able to shut people up, for one thing.
