Really I love it. I love the perspective carving. That's incredible. I'm sure everybody will feel surprised when you see it directly

It reminds me of the carved jade pieces I see at museums. The wood gives it a warmth and variation in color that you don't see in stone pieces. That tree is sensational.

    Ya, first look bamboo...
    2nd look wood
    3rd look....resin.
    hey it's just a photo....
    but
I've never seen bamboo carved like that with no cell srtucture..
what wood is hollow, with no grain...
& it has all the flags for resin...

I think it's wood, no bubbles or globules visible that I can find in any of the pics. The crack(s) looks like how wood would crack to me. I think I can see evidence of the ring structure and grain in the last 2 pics.

Looks like a carved bamboo brush pot to me, the natural bottom is typical, and looking at that top crack in the last pic, can see separating fibers...

    Bamboo +2.

It is stunning, abdel! A wonderful piece, age and beauty, a perfect combination. I love the way the leaves go over the rim.
Antique bamboo that has been handled a lot, like brushpots often have, can get a more smooth, woody look.
The way the fiber goes from one side to the other between two sides of a split is characteristic of bamboo:

Below is another rather woody looking bamboo brushpot:

Yes, the good ones are certainly of interest to the higher end auctioneers.

Well. That's exciting, isn't it. Maybe it was carved to look like bamboo.

I see your problem. Bamboo is grass not a tree, so weight could be an indicator.

These carved brush pots are generally made of bamboo. The depression in the base suggests bamboo (segments). And I think I can see that bamboo cross-section structure in the last photo of the base.
The rim with that tiny pitting looks like bamboo:
