Welcome to Antiquers, Jim, and thank you for your service.
I am sure you can give us more historical backgrounds on items too, if necessary. It sometimes helps to fill in the blanks.

USAF and High school teacher? You have the necessary qualifications to handles this lot! We're a bit of a motley bunch. There are some other coin collectors, but most of us are junque junkies. I'm an overall magpie, m'self.

Can someone lead me to a member who can shed some light on this:

I have been going through some things left behind by my great grandfather and I found an item that I am seeking information. I have what is labeled CRISS-CROSS GUN CLEANER. it was manufactured by Reversible Tube Cleaner Co. Worcester, Mass. It shows a picture of the item on the container. It says on the wooden tube container that it was Patented Sept. 30, 1902 and Guage Number 10. There is a small piece of paper inside with DIRECTIONS

    Hi, Jim, and welcome!

I'm certain that others here will be able to help you with your question. It would be best to post it under "TOOLS" - here: https://www.antiquers.com/forums/tools.13/ - as lots of people don't check the "Introductions" section.

For best results, please include lots of clear photos! (If you have trouble loading them, just ask for help!)
