Any idea of the type of bone or it does not matter anyway?
    Thanks

How about if you don't know for sure and just call it let's say camel bone?

I have no idea but I'd imagine it's done all the time. Ebay doesn't usually police listings anyway.

Even if they police I doubt someone from the Ebay can tell the type of bone.

I'd list it as camel bone, and would not expect any problems from ebay.

It looks like a necklace I have made of walrus tusk. My aunt taught school on a tiny island off the coast of Alaska in the 1950s and she gave me a bracelet and necklace. It has the same screw type closer as yours.

Could be; on the other hand, I have a necklace with that same screw-type closer; my Mom got it in Egypt in 1959, and I'm sure it is not walrus ivory, but camel-bone.
I'd not want to make an ID from photos in this case.....

because of the way walrus tusks are formed and shaped it's very hard to make clean round objects & easier to make long thin items...

Any round beads usually will have lots of markings on them.....

Mine have marks that just don't show up in the photo which was taken in bright sunlight. I have a bracelet made of square pieces with the center large one showing the same fishing scene!

I have the parts for a small bracelet , little flat squares , some with raised carvings.....
I'm not saying the beads aren't ivory ....just that it wastes a lot of material making them round, so their less often seen...
