    Hello everyone!

    I recently joined this site hoping to get some advice on a number of different pieces. My parents are getting older and asked me to help them go through old family boxes containing everything from knick knacks and dishes, art to birth certificates and memorabilia. Some items I'm having a difficult time identifying and want to narrow down what I should actually take to an appraiser. Any info would help. Thanks!

    Alexandra ! Welcome. Just jump in and post questions and pictures of the items you have questions about and I'm sure there is somebody here that can help you! There are many people here willing to help and they cover a WIDE range of collectibles and areas of expertise. When you post pictures of items the more the better. Potties and glassies like to see the bottom of things, it can really help pinning down a maker.

    Here's a tip for you to follow...

    bottom left of every post ....tells you the time...or date of the post...
    you just posted....who knows what...to a 5 year old Intro thread where 3 of the above members are no longer posting here......and one is in JAIL !!!!!!!!!!!
