Featured Help with Asian, octagon shaped finger bowls?

    I thought this was a matched set but each one is painted slightly different, especially the one facing backward with a darker color. Not marked for origin. I think the letters are R N What would you call the crossed marks to help me identify these?

    What are these? Not marked for origin `Chinese, Japanese? Any idea on age? When I see the blue and orange I always think Imari but would that be correct? Approx 1 3/4" tall x 6" wide


    Any help is very much appreciated.

    I think these are European, more meissen-y than Chinese/Japanese imho

    Looking again but not Asian, I came up with Rauenstein I think strawflower is the pattern

    Rauensteiner Porzellanfabrik
    Mark was used 1890-1930
