Sterling silver with marks can't find it has two lions heads. 5 inches wide

    It did not show up in my American silver marks book.

    The maker's mark (that W with "rays" in the first picture) is for Frank M Whiting Co.

    Since the "2 lions" is so big and is inside the bowl and not underneath, I suspect it is the logo for an organization or establishment (restaurant or hotel?) that used this piece in table service.

    :hilarious: I didn't actually "say" it was for the Lions Club, but that is what I was thinking. Just didn't have time to go look. Thanks for confirming my unspoken thought, Susan!
