    Hi all,

I know I said I'd stop collecting until I got better at identifying but it was only $8 and I couldn't help myself. LOL So this was being sold as a 'Vintage Paste' ring. I loved the setting and the clear stones are so pretty. They seem much nicer than paste and when they catch the light you can see little rainbow prisms. It's stamped 'Sterling' but there is a mark before the sterling I can't make out. I ordered a jewelers loop so I can stop driving myself insane trying to read stamps hopefully soon. I'm thinking it may be circa 1930's or 40's? What do you all think?

It is a little beauty, mekanah. I can't read the mark either, it is tiny. The age could be right, but let's wait for the others.

The mark looks like a couple letters with an arrow passing through them, need a closeup photo.

Yep! I had just stumbled on Uncas after searching arrow jewelry stamp. It's definitely the second one, arrow going through the U. Thanks everyone!

Beat me to it. They were still in business the last I looked. Uncas made some nice costume pieces and some sterling. That's classic late 20s from the look of it.
