Help in identifing the artist for the attached paintings

I have two painting of the Frauenchiemsee area that are oil on board. One has a clear signature, the other does not. Any help identifing the artist and time frame would be much appreciated.

I'd think 20th century certainly. Either side of World War II. Would you post photographs of front and back including frame along with close-ups of any stickers, labels and hand-written notations?

Agree, the first one is Frauenchiemsee, Germany.
The last one looks like Switzerland to me, with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. (Not necessarily in that order.)

The name looks like J. Kreut. I agree, 1930s-40s.

There are no markings of any type on the rear of these paintings. I agree the time period seems correct. Thanks for the response.

 

Thanks, I had not considered Switzerland for the mountains. I was searching the lake area for similar peaks and coming up empty. The name is not one I have researched yet.

 

I like the mountain scene with the small chalet/barn. I suspect both southern Germany (Bavaria) but also possibly Switzerland or Austria for the mountain picture.
