I struggle to even find a can of it! About $5 or so now.
I used to buy it in Canada......OH! ;)
For 50cents a can! That was about 15-16 years ago, maybe less.
Haven't been up to our 'attic' recently though... ;)

Gold is up because people are hoarding it now, banks an such too......
When the fan hits the poop... ;) they expect to be better off.

I just found that WD40 works as well for the tape stickies. There was 2 cans of that in the free bin but I left them.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Those spoons look like they were somebody's pride and joy. Sort of a spoon-y charm bracelet.

Use a hair dryer to remove labels, it works on surface - tip courtesy of gregsglass:)

That works too but...I can just let LF sit with something over it and come back later. Far less work when doing a number of things at once.

    Hi KoT,
I use lighter fluid to check for watermarks on stamps. I was at a yard sale several years ago, the lady had three rolls of strapping tape. Huge rolls, 5 feet in diameter.
I asked where she got them. She said her husband was cleaning out a store that went under and brought the tape home. They must have done a lot of shipping.

I take it this is the strapping tape with the fiberglass in it? I used to love that stuff. They also used to make a brown craft paper tape that was pretty strong, but you had to wet it down like wallpaper. Haven't seen any of that in ages, but it had the advantage of not being able to dry out on you. Fall apart due to acid content maybe....

    Yes and yes.
I use strapping on heavy boxes especially books.
I have a couple of rolls of the brown tape too. :)

I have a couple rolls of that paper tape. I love it. You have to get just the right amount of water on it though.

I have a bunch of sweet little teacups to ship for centerpieces for a wedding. I think I'll use mine for that box. :)

Well that was the tag sale morning that wasn't. There was a "big sale" advertised in the next town with multiple families. Yeah, right. There was enough stuff for one family and nothing I could be bothered buying. Went to a senior center's annual tag sale up the street and found new jewelry. Bought out the sterling, more or less, but nothing worth showing. Stopped at a house that's having an estate/tag sale tomorrow to case the joint a bit. "The sale's tomorrow" (I can read, thanks). No jewelry at the sale at all, it seems. I may go back anyway for the heck of it. (sigh)
