Help With Vintage Print

    Aw, YourTurn, thanks for saying that, but I don't know all that much. I just thought I saw "tizan" after "moon" and putting them together in google brought the poem up.

    LOL. Seriously you people are terrific. I doubt that we'll ever identify the artist but I definitely know more about it then when I first posted! Thanks to all!

    Reader, I hope I was right about the title. :)

    I think I agree that the last name of the artist is "Smith." It's unfortunate it's such a common name so hard to research.

    I've tried Smith from the start and now tried with your title suggestion-nothing. It's still a nice vintage Modernist print.

    In running the name Smith through what Poirot calls the "little gray cells," I came up with all of two Smiths: Jesse Wilcox and the cough drop brothers. Oh! And Smith and Wesson. None of whom, I believe, are herein involved in the above art.

    But, hey, I tried!
