I'm wondering if anyone can identify this piece. Dude welcome to the forum. We will need to see clear photos of the white backs as it kinda looks a bit like ivory.
    Cheers

It is Persian, painted on bone. My guess is 1950s.

    Persian storyteller bracelet.

These are either made of bone or of mother of pearl in a silver setting. Ivory would have to be imported, making it too expensive for a cheap tourist item.
Not trying to put the bracelet down, it is cute, but this was the lower end of the Persian panel bracelets.
Birds in Persian art generally represent Paradise.

I appreciate your and everyone's opinion. I'm not sure if mine is wrought with silver as it is magnetic (not reverse polarity but strongly magnetic).

If it has an elastic cord between the panels it might be some kind of resin or plastic.

    Aren't they still making these?
    I would have thought later.
And since it's groovy;) - more like the 70s or after.

Not that I know of.... Persian quality control on souvenir items became more strict in the 60s. That is when they started making the really stunning stuff.
    :hilarious:
'Groovy' was also used in the 60s. And since the Persians were first in just about everything (which the Chinese copied, and we copied from either the Persians or the Chinese), a Persian groovy bracelet could be older than the 60s.:joyful:
