Marked 10K STS, which, if I'm correct is Chuck Clemency. Some Clemency pieces that I'm seeing are Tanzanite, but this piece seems to be a bit more on the blue side of tanzanite. This, to me looks a light blue, but when turned it has some purple in it, so it may be tanzanite, I don't know. It's not diamond. Thanks for your thoughts.:cat:

Never mind, I just ran it by a jeweler and he thinks blue topaz or sapphire but would have to be tested to be sure. He also told me there is a broken prong :( which I didn't even know.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Blue-purple shifting is also associated with Alexandrite, actual or manufactured (the former being extremely expensive, the latter being inexpensive). Will the jeweler test it, then?

Hi Gila and thanks so much!:) They said that I could take it to a different jeweler and they could test it, but it would take a few days and of course would be a charge for it, I don't know how much though. I just figured with a broken prong, It probably not worth it to pay?

Thanks Komokwa! I know, my goodness, it is right there in front of me!! I really need to get my eyes checked!!!! I thought I had good vision up close:confused::eek:.
I love this ring, and it's funny, I bought this with a bunch of other jewelry a few months ago. I thought it was sterling and put it away in a drawer to look at later on. Pulled it out today and realized I was looking at the mark STS, and thinking it was 925. The 10K is marked on the other side of the ring, and I never saw it until today. ANOTHER reason I need to go get my eyes checked....gee whiz.

I don't think a broken prong is enough to keep you from testing it ....IMO !
