I'd love any information someone might have for this filagree cross. I believe it's from the 1870s but not sure. Who love to know who makes it, where's it from and value... It's gold and enamel, when I hold it up to the light it's see through whee the colors are. I saw a similar one with earrings a while back and it was made of 15k gold. Maybe this is the same?

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

    What a pretty thing.
I think the jewelry brainiacs here might like to see the back side... also, maybe a picture of the see-through effect, as knowledgeable folks will look for bubbles or inclusions when 'diagnosing' the materials. No marks or stamps? It's an inch or so in height?

Thank you! The backside is the exact same as the front side. No markings I could find of the origin. Attached a few more photos

Look up Ottoman or Turkish cross. Seems like there should be a mark on it, somewhere. Did you look inside the bale? You need to determine the metal content, somehow.

Many were sold on QVC and are very collectible by the right artist, but yours could be older, of course.

It is really beautiful and I would guess it's 18k. I think you should contact an expert. Unfortunately I don't know who, but maybe someone here may have a suggestion. If you are re-selling do make sure to get good pictures of it. It would really pop with some great photos!:)
