Large Green Glass Vase Made in England

Large Green Glass Vase. 10 1/2" tall, 10" across the top. Base is 6". Has a clear polished pontil, in the middle of the pontil it says Made In England. The foot has a alot of wear so it's been around awhile. Looking for maker.

 

Interesting. I can' t think of a maker off hand who would ONLY put Made in England. Can you get an image of the mark? And can you please go over it very carefully with a loupe - I think there may well be another small mark on there.

 

Here is the mark, I can't find anything else.

 

Hm. Dartington do shapes like that, but they don't usually put Made in England as an etched mark. Nazeing made that kind of mottled colour, but the pointil is wrong and they don't etch. I'm wondering if it's Wedgwood.

 

Tough call. Might be throwing this back in my own sale.
