You can however include the information in the text of the auction description - no links, just where and how much the original retail was on the piece. Hematite, I have to say, isn't an expensive material. It doesn't sell for much on a good day, even if Tiffany did make the necklace.

That is what I feared. And why I asked. Thank you. You're a wealth of insight and information komo...

That too is helpful. I will lower my expectations greatly next Monday!

I won't resell much Tiffany any more; the fakes have ruined the market. Older stuff is OK, but anything new is automatically suspect.

Maybe I am jumping the gun. As of today, ten people have looked and it now has one watcher.

Well that's better......now don't bother looking at the auction untill the last 5 minutes......when .....if there's going to be action....that's when it'll take place !

Does anyone know what happened? For several days in a row last week, I could not access this board. I got very worried, because I'm going to need to show some Waterford glassware to ID patterns and purpose.

Internal Server issue is the message I was getting from my browsers. As it was going down, I tried to "Like" a post and got a "database error" and then couldn't get back in.

I'm just glad it was temporary!

Update. It closed today without a bid. It had 23 looks and 2 watchers. I started it again, trying a price of $499. This could take a while...

Here's the end of the story. I re-listed it this past Monday for $399. Today, a nice buyer asked if I would accept $300. I did it. Both I and the client who gave it to me are happy.

All things considered, I think that's pretty cool! Glad you're happy. It's always an adventure...

I figure between hematite being a tough sell and the fact that the market is rife with Tiffany knockoffs, we did fine, Gila.
