Interesting green glass vase. Has a textured finish with a smoother outline of flowers and leaves. Looks like it was once painted in gold. Any idea on who dunnit? Is the top missing a lid? Measures about 5 inches tall.

Or perhaps a (glass) stopper? ;)

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

A stopper maybe attached to the loop with a chain.
    (Didn't work too well...)

With that fitting on top, I sincerely doubt it was originally a vase.

Leave it up to Bakersgma to get down to brass tacks. ;)

I had completely ignored its being described as a "vase."

Perfume bottle? Or rather toilet water bottle? People didn't bathe as often and ladies made their own dilute perfumes at home sometimes. The bottles could be rather large.

Nice thing .... definitely acid etched. I am with the others in thinking this had a stopper or dauber for smelly stuff (whatever :D). Maybe Bohemian?

It should have a silver cap on a chain that would have covered a glass stopper.
    Acid Etched

    I think it is French.
    Check Daum, Schneider and Bacarrat.
    I'm leaning toward Daum
