Needing some Rookwood help

    I picked this piece up with another midcentury Rookwood vase.
    It seems to be a presentation piece to Richard Grever at Brummerdale Seminary made in 1942. I have had it for a while and have had no luck finding similar Rookwood pieces. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Rookwood filed for bankruptcy in 1941. That plus WWII going on did serious damage to their business. I would guess that this piece was commissioned for a teacher or top student.

    If you google Richard Grever BruNNerdale you can find hits that relate the two. (Update - Sorry, I thought it did- I hate using the Iphone and Safari for searching)... Joe

    Green with a bit of chatoyance. It looks great in sunlight.
