Older earrings with interesting safely catch

    Some do. So do some natural stones with enough light exposure.

    Just a brief update - had them tested at the jeweler and the white metal is silver and the yellow metal is gold (between 10 and 14K) ... he thinks the "stones" are glass and has no idea about their age or origin. I don't foresee getting tired of them anytime soon ... :)

    truth is the setting and workmanship look too well done to be anything less.
    The stones look like aquamarine.....but i'm no jeweler....
