    I am thinking Japanese maybe?
Does not appear to be of older age. The glaze looks celadonish like.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

    It is not celadon.
    Good chance it is Japanese
    Maybe for Saki.

    Yup!

Japanese, sake or water pot, Hirado ware, probably 19th/early-20th C.

Appears to have once had a piece of felt adhered to the base and taken off ???
