Right??!! Problem is that B&T have gold leaf/aventurine, this doesn't... That search on google brings up the exact piece, but obviously, they didn't know for sure what it was. I can't pull it up on eBay, only google.

I'll horn in here a bit with another un-ID'd piece (5 1/2" side to side). Just looks like it might be the same maker:

It's very interesting color, maybe unique to the manufacturer?

Yeah! Oh, I see I wasn't looking at completed.
Wow, $100 is not much, and that's asking. We pulled it to consign, but that's not valuable enough to make it work my boss's time - especially when there's already one just as nice that didn't sell, plus we do free shipping.
    Shizzle.

I would be surprised if a bowl like that sold for $50, especially considering the additional shipping cost. Having a positive ID would help, but not as much as an engraved siggy, or even a label.

Been so long since I looked at this kind of glass - sad to see it's priced right along with so much that is not 1/2 as nice.
    Prices have sooo dropped.
Oh, well - there's always this super-rare surgical camera from the same estate... That should make up for it, God willing it sells.

I see it too, and I stopped buying glass a long time ago - One store I worked for in SF that had an extremely high turnover on wonderful Mid Century everything wouldn't touch anything that hinted at being an ashtray, no matter how good it was - most of it looks like ashtrays to me :)

But I thought something like this was far better than most decent but ordinary stuff I see for under $20.

But I guess the "taste," that indefinable thing that gets buying appetite up, is gone for glass.

Buyers have seen everything, and now aren't satisfied with buying what's left over from the knowledgeable collectors, and have either moved on (to collecting something different, or decorating in a different style) or have access to better glass.

Someone like OwnedbyBear likely knows exactly what to buy - and what not.

My price $30 - but since I wasn't sure what it was, I pulled it. :)
