Google is your friend on this one, ALC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Iron_Duke_(1912) Way down at the end, the article mentions that the ship was broken up for scrap.
I have sold examples of this and similar pieces from other ships including HMS Victory. They are not all that rare in Britain and fetch maybe the equivalent of $10 - $20. Apart from the wood, the copper sheathing of some broken up ships was made into artifacts, or struck as medallions. The practice seems to have started in the late 19th C. I expect there were less 'mass produced' items before that.
Take your pick, there are hundreds. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=T...ved=0ahUKEwiAgZDmrMLLAhUCthoKHTjLCM8Q_AUIBygC
Two of those sold at a local auction here the other week for under ten pounds. I like them - match holders, by the way.
