Writing Desk - Help

    hello- does this writing desk look familiar to anyone. We have had this piece for awhile and can not find any markings. Any direction would be helpful.

    Think probably 30s-40s and more likely a vanity missing a mirror.

    I doubt in my mind it’s a vanity.

    One way to tell if it is a vanity or a desk.
    Look on the back for holes where screws would have held the mirror in place.

    Do I see plywood in the drawer? If so, then possibly later than the 30's/40s. Or the drawer was repaired.

    I meant to say I have no doubt it is a vanity. Sunday morning isn't my time to be intelligible.
