    Hello!

I purchased this today at a local TS; in looking closely, it appears to be authentic, but this is very far out of my knowledge area and I could easily be fooled. In wondering how it could end up in small-town Georgia, there are many churches in the South that take 'holy-land' tours or other trips with their churches and I wondered if this possibly came back with one of those trips.

It measures about 4 3/4". Thank you for looking. Cory

    Nice piece!

Looks Persian to me, probably 19th C.

    Hi,
First thought was Persian also but if I remember right a lot of repros came out in the 70s. Not saying your's is but need verification. Looks 19c to me too.
