Hi and welcome! Does it look like there is a slot where a blade could be inserted? I don't know what it is exactly but looks like a handle that might be for a saw blade something like a keyhole saw or hacksaw maybe.

No slot for a blade. The end is curved like a hook for pulling on something.

It looks like the handle part of a hack saw (or similar saw with replaceable blades)

There is no place to attach a blade. It seems to be a hook for lifting something, hooking a rope, or pulling on an oven rack. These are some of the suggestions I've had but no one seems to know for sure

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Hay baler, ice hook, oven rack hook... all seem reasonable, but I Googled images for all... no similar-looking one. Hmmmmm...

Oh, and... hola, and welcome to the Forums, Bob!

    EDIT
Also looked for transom hand tools, awning hand tools, gate hand tool... thinking maybe it grabbed and pulled something down or open... no dice.

    ANOTHER EDIT
I got excited by the picture, but the site associated with it was nothing like I expected.

One of my friends says, based on his experience in the US Coast Guard, that it's a tool for repairing fishing nets. He says he's seen them, or things like them on factory fish ships.
