    Hello.
I have these 2 pieces of pottery: a sweet seaside scene with 2 kids and an iridescent blue circular basket.
Both with marks unknown to me, so some help in identifying and finding out more about them would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks. 20191127_114208.jpg 20191127_114314.jpg 20191127_114729.jpg 20191127_114604b.jpg

Wow, how did you find all that info? :wideyed:
I spent an eternity googling these 2 by keywords and images and nothing!
Anyway, you're a star! Thank you.

Any ideas on age & value anyone?

Beat me to it. I'm as sure as I can be that it's Sadler. If I can find the image, I've a nice iridescent one by them, which is actually marked. I think they're post war: early 50s.

    Aha. Got it.

I love those little seaside imps.

    Interesting similarities for sure @Ownedbybear.
But would Sadler use a golden sickle as an alternative signature you think?

The little sickle thingie is just a decorator's mark. Used so that piecework payments could be made.
