I bought this little pitcher piece because I thought it was interesting. It seems to be of more interest in the UK than here in the US. I'm having a little trouble figuring out what the crest is and why people collect them. This one measures 3 3/4" high without the lid. There seems to be some rust or something on the bottom (I hope it's not glue). Any info would be appreciated! Also, does anyone know what the yellow mark is that looks like a circle with an X or cross in it? DSCF5021.jpg DSCF5022.jpg DSCF5023.jpg DSCF5024.jpg TY!

    Its Goss Crested China.
The crest represents the town of Rhyl in Wales.
I think the rusty colour is from the firing process.

The gold star-like mark is an identification mark of the painter.
