Here is one in the UK. The seller says the man is General Ulysses Grant. I haven't looked yet to see if the profile matches others of Grant.
I notice the guy has an undershot lower jaw that juts out. That's probably a good clue.

I don't think it is any of the people suggested so far.
Notice how the forehead moves down into the bridge of the nose to the tip of the nose in almost a straight line.

When I first posted this, for some reason, lauragarnet's posts about Grant were not showing for me.

    Sorry.

Yes, Clutter. The nose doesn't match in the pics above your post.

Let's face it though, pun intended, it would probably have to be an ancestor of Matt or Jake. Unless someone is doing actor's in parian. Couldn't get a good profile of either.

I love the vase! But what is that gunk on the bottom? You will wash it off, won't you?

I think it is glue, will leave it to soak to see if it comes off....

Just realised all the suggestions are for men. Are there no famous bearded ladies?

Tons of them out there, Rhiw, but none with that nose.

If that's glue on the bottom ---can you use vinegar on Parian? If so, try it. It's the best I've ever found to get rid of any type glue, even LocTite or KrazyGlue.
