Welcome, thedifference. This section of the forum is for auction offerings, not valuation or identification. (This is the third thread you've started about this carriage. One is sufficient.)
I will be the judge of what is or isn't sufficient thank you. from what I can tell this site has multiple forums and I am in need of more advice than how to post pictures or where and how many threads I start!
Yes multiple forums, but only 1600 plus members of which only a small number are regulars, who read most of the forums. So multiple postings, ignoring how to post pictures for the benefit of us helping you, and being disrespectful to those who respond will only antagonize even the most helpful here. If you go back to your original inquiry, ladybranch has posted some of your pictures. It really is a very nice looking buggy. Not sure if there is anyone here who is versed in buggies. Good luck. https://www.antiquers.com/threads/pre-1903-gray-and-sons-horse-carriage.8499/
Wow. New to the forum and you're copping an attitude. This is, as cluttered said, a small friendly group. We're very happy to help, but please be nice.
Hmmmm. Well there were hints . . . mood indicator, folks, mood indicator. And yes, it was there already when some responded in a "trying to be helpful" way.
True. Although I don't know why antiques would make anyone angry. Collecting for me is a stress reducer.
Well, you certainly spread your message around. New here? I trust you checked off the notification or you may miss some decent answers. Recently purchased? As I'm sure you know, condition is paramount. Where would you place it in that category? Are you having difficulty displaying your pictures on your posting? That is most convenient for those willing to assist. The following similar carriages pictured here recently sold with the fully restored one fetching a reasonable figure. The second was purchased as-is. Gavel price was in the range of $2,500 to $3,500, including buyer's premium
I posted a link to a regular wagon, coach, and wheel biz-Hansen-he's in the middle of that market and is one of the few people in that area. Ask if he's interested in buying the thing, send good pix, and he'll get back to you. I've sold him related items that way.
