Hi, I am new here - I'm moving house so need to downsize my furniture. We bought a couple of antique furniture items over the years to fill the space in this house but I haven't a clue what they are. I'll thought I'd ask on here first because I don't want to look stupid selling them on eBay not knowing how to describe them... ;)

The first item is a ...Sideboard? and I think it's antique because the wood is solid and the style looks old enough.
The markings on the underside of the drawers - one says CC and the other possibly CCC.
I've tried to find it on google but to no avail.

I'll post the photos - and thank you so much for any help or advice on how much to sell it for or how to describe it. 30.jpg 40.jpg 4052.jpg 40per.jpg

    Welcome Tiana,
In the UK it is known as a sideboard, I would say 1920`s-early 30`s.
Very common and not big sellers now a days, brown furniture is out at the moment.
Most of the sideboards we get go to the tip, we can`t give them away and auction houses refuse to accept them.

Agree, English or Continental oak art deco buffet or sideboard. Here in the states, you might see this in the $150.00-$200.00 range here in a Midwest shop. At auction or other wholesale venue, somewhere less than $100.00. You might do better in a big city or on either coast.

If you can push it as Art Deco....it may go higher !

The fact that it has little to no value in the UK is why so many ended up here. ;)

Can't get it to the tip as it is too heavy for me to lift hence why I am selling it. My ex paid too much for it from an Antique shop so maybe someone else will pay me to remove it
I like the Art Deco angle - I'll go with that.
