Help aging walking canes (part 4!)

I just glanced at this before. Today I really looked at it. That's a rattlesnake peeking out of his collar! Dang.

 

Perhaps a caning is in order as punishment???

 

I originally posted that pic because of his cane with the rubber plunger, and which is a rattle snake, too. As is his hat band, his boots and his tie, LOL. Someday I intend to find the star and horseshoe logo on his hat, but haven't been bored enough lately.

Ironically I've just bought a lot which has a bird cane! No joke! Ha looking at it it's pretty new. I bought them as 20th century and in my head I just thought early 20th century, but think a few examples are from late 20th century and think the bird cane is one of them. If you don't care about age or you want to look at it I can take some photos and attach them later on. I'm at work today so will be tonight.

Though since you said you're going to beat me up I'm not sure I should encourage you any more! Ha

Hi Gila, thought I'd introduce you to your latest bird cane...oops, I mean my latest bird cane! Not that I'm tempting you to purchase another bird cane! Ha

As I said, I think it's late 20th century, not sure exact age, but I'd expect it's prob 70s/80s maybe newer. Is quite nicely, if not nievly done.

 

Why isn't anybody afraid of me?? I said I was gonna beat you up and I meant it ... and... and... I... oooh... that *is* a nice cane...

 

I am afraid, but I thought if I'm going to get beat up I may as well get beat up for selling you two canes! Rather than just the one! Ha

Plus I like to know they have a good home.

I'm planning on listing them on Monday so let me know if you want this bird to fly over the pond

I haven't got international postage price but if you're interested let me know and I'll get you a price. Can't see it being much more to post than European tbh, though it is quite heavy.
