I found this photo in a book I bought. It is a little damaged

 

Oh my goodness, I love that photo, not only the bright-eyed and smiling child but the child's sweet outfit (especially the stand-up lace around the neckline and the nicely trimmed sleeves).

It's really too bad that there's damage right in the middle of his/her forehead.

 

Agreed... and then other areas such as the hands are so beautiful.

 

Makanudo, did you have a question about the photo? Or are you just showing it? No problem, but I was just wondering.

 

I wanted to share this unusual find. Naturally, I would like to know who the person on the photo is. As far as possibilities go, it may be someone from Serbian royal family, because the photo was taken by officiall photographer of the crown.
Anyway, he has the look of an important person and a well cared for boy.

 

Unfortunately I spend WAY too many hours practicing editing skills, mainly because I enjoy it and lose my mind in it......so once in a while I will snag a pic and do so! I hope you...Makanudo, do not take offense, that I did such with your little fellow (at least I think it's a boy!) All I do is practice and then discard! I don't keep or save them....to me it's fun and keeps me out of other trouble!!! Here's your little "guy" with a forehead back on anyway, and it cleaned up a bit! I also 'despeckled' and reduced the noise, and brightened him a bit.....once he's posted he'll be off my computer and gone. And BTW......I have NOT mastered doing hair well AT ALL.......I keep trying......

I don't mind criticism.......that's how one improves........and I did try to not change the shape of his eyes, just define them a bit more.....but not an easy picture to work with.......

 

It was not Criticism. Sorry , if it came out that way. His eyes do look older, but its not your fault, you only xhanged forehead and hair. Eyes can now be clearly visible and they are like that.
