    Don't let the shiny glaze throw you - Haeger made these in a whole bunch of different glazes.

    Cool. You learn something new every day. I didn't know that Haeger had that long of a history and according to Wikipedia it is still in operation.

    There are some great early Haeger forms and glazes. Some of the forms, including this one, are very similar to those produced by Fulper.

    Haeger, Stangl/Fulper and Catalina Island pottery shared a few shapes in the late 1920s-1930s. The op shape is one of the shared or copied between them.
