    That's what I thought too, that's why I asked about the mark.
    I didn't realize that that was where the 39 was. I had seen the 49 and thought book had a typo.

    They are saying what I thought might be the crown and R is actually the number 39.

    I agree, I think this looks like Schaffer Vater. A mismatch of lid and creamer.
