    Ha! Not sure I've been called that before and thank you! :)
    The ones you refer to with the :vomit:, and I had to do it too, keep the ship...shape! :)
    And when I served, DC (Damage Control) was part of the HT rate along with ALL the other fabrication ratings. I was a metal fabricator and also the fire 'On Scene Leader' on my ships.
    It's good that DC is back to being a dedicated rate. It's too important to not be.

    There's training requirements we have now for each DC/emergency response role. I never was the Lead, but primarily a stretcher-bearer/medical emergency kind-of-guy.
