    Hi,
I have another what am I - pair of brass boots with maybe a coin bank on the back side. The boots are 4 1/4"H x 3 3/4"W - no marks anywhere.
It was suggested these were Victorian Wedding Table pieces, but not finding anything similar.
    Any ideas or information welcome.
    Thanks for looking

Maybe a razor blade bank? I kind of think the back is too ugly to have been on a wedding table.

Usually described as 'trench art', believe these are probably match holders, have also seen pincushions, and some just decorative shelf pieces. Suspect the dating would be more WWI era than Victorian...

    Thanks folks.
Someone on another forum suggested spill holders, using that term and match holder I have now found several other sets.
