Only markings are PATENTED underneath the aqua colored glass on the bottom. The rest is metal and the lip on the edge of the glass, when the top is screwed off, is sort of rough. Has a slight hint of perfume or cologne when opened, but very faint. Is it a perfume bottle?
Sorry about the dirt/dust, I haven't cleaned it yet.
    Thanks for your time.

I have three mini perfume bottles that look like oil lamps. I've had them since I was a child, but know nothing about them. Maybe the same company?

There were oil lamp candy containers as well. Might try that direction if the perfume idea doesn't pan out.

The patent referred to is probably April 25 1882 issued to Alfred Babcock.
The bottle was called a "Perfumery bottle" in the patent.
The glass is blown thus the ground neck for the screw top.
    Circa 1880s-1900.
Not rare but much nicer than the candy container lanterns that came along much later...circa 1900-30s.
I've seen a few of these but never in any color other than this green. Never blue, red, clear, amber, aqua...just this green.

Mine definitely had perfume in them. I can't locate them right now, but this photo shows some like mine plus a gone with the wind type in the middle. I have several with different colors. They are about 3 inches tall.
