Help with identification / usage please

    These 2 items were found in an old DSCF2667S.jpg ch ippies tool box. Are they for woodworking ? The ends are lead spheres.

    G`day murrayroberts and welcome.

    I suspect many members won`t know what a chippie is.

    Its a slang name for a carpenter.

    I have no idea what the objects are.

    Next time you post a photo try this trick>
    When you are done writing drop down a line and add a squiggle. ~
    Then drop to the next line and then enlarge your photos. :)
    You sentences won't be broken up. If you goof then backspace and re-enlarge your photos. :)

    That's quite possible, the craftsman had a job with some unique requirement and made special tools for that job. But at least we can give them names. How 'bout large bopper and small bopper?

    Down here in Australia all carpenters are called chippies.

    Um, professional ladies are sometimes called chippies. Or just ladies who don't have a strong moral compass, if you get my drift.

    These look like they would be very useful for knocking out dents in holloware. I don't know if that is what they really are but that is what I would use them for.
