I'm not even sure what to call this piece--a tray?--or how to describe the shape.

It's large, 20" x 12", and is 2" high at one end and 2 1/2" high at the opposite end.

The base is ground and polished.

Any idea who the maker could be, and what do you call it?

    Thanks!
    Janice

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I LOVE THAT COLOR! Electric lime! For appetizers? A dessert tray-thingie? Cold cuts?
    So amoeba-ish... kidney-ish... radioactive-ish...

Looks similar to a Viking glass candlestick I have in smoke glass.
You might have a look at Viking glass.

I saw something similar in google images ID'd as Viking Epic, but I couldn't find this color in Viking, and the one I found didn't have dimensions.

I think it is Viking--20" shallow bowl. Thanks for the tip!

According to my Viking book they simply labeled that color "lime". It was introduced in 1969. First time I've seen that color and I've seen a ton of Viking epic pieces. Nice find.
