A Satsuma - or a lemon?

Looks like we are having a Japanese/Chinese session!

I know nothing about Asian pieces - but this little vase reminded me of what I think is Satsuma.

My question is - IS it a Satsuma piece? Or is it just for tourists? It's for sale at 12 euros - would I be better off buying some garlic or could this be my dream ticket to that wonderful holiday home in the mountains?

One mark painted on the base rim ... what does it mean?
There might be another mark inside at the center of the base but it is not legible if it IS a mark!

Go on - shock me! Tell me to rush out and get it NOW!

No, it's a genuine Japanese Satsuma vase, but a late slap-dash one. Not the quality you want.
